San Joaquin (Delta) in Contra Costa, California For Fishing & Camping

Concentrating heavily on the Delta as of late, this is the time of the year when one can only get excited about what is ahead. The warmer weather and increasing water temps only equal one thing, BIG Fish and lots of 'em!! For me swimbait time is just around the corner, dont get me wrong you can throw it year round, but April thru August is when I have had the greatest success. Right now the fish have still been a bit lethargic but with New moon on the 26th and a stable weather forecast, its about get good....Fishing REAL slow and deliberate right now seems to pay off, you must pick it all apart.
